The AHA Handbook Review

The AHA! Handbook: How to spark the insights that will transform your life and career

When I first heard about this book, I was really excited to get a chance to review it. You see I'm a firm believer of the "Law of Attraction" and the outcome of positive thinking and how you feel is what you attract.  But Donna Hartney takes it a step further with "The AHA Handbook". She describes how you can spark an AHA! moment at any time in you life and how that moment can transform or spark a transition in your life which leads you on a whole new path.  I love how she shows us several  aspects of people who have received an AHA! moment and how it changed their way of thinking, or put them on a different career path.  Some of the people that she has interviewed are real life celebrities such as Naomi /Wynona Judd, Queen Latifa, Mac Bernie, Jay Leno, and so many more.  I was really impressed and excited about this book.  It made me start thinking....hmm.  Have I ever had any AHA! moments?  And I believe that I have had an AHA! moment when I was a teenager and started seeing this guy that turned out to be a total jerk. I remember saying I will never marry anyone like him and today as I finished reading the AHA! handbook it dawned on me that my life the man that I fell in love with and married is so perfect and right and is not like the jerk I liked in high school.  I remember now going in whole new direction after I had gotten hurt that was my first AHA! moment but I didn't see it at the time.  I really love this book.  If you never had an AHA! moment then look around notice your surroundings, check out your friends, be aware of who you are and you never know you just might find your self in that AHA! moment where the world stops for a minute and you have clarity of how or what or where you want your life to go and then you follow that path.

So if you don't know who Donna Hartney is, she is the author of this amazing little book called The AHA Handbook!  You can find her book here.  Take a moment and check it out, relax, and put your feet up, grab a cup of tea or a glass of wine and be prepared to have a good read that could potentially be life changing!

My Purell reviews

I recently had a chance to review the Purell Advanced Non-Aerosol Instant Hand Sanitizer Foam Dispenser.  I have to say I was really impressed with the hardware.   Not only is it made well but it's so easy to put together and stays put on the wall once placed.  I have a small half-bath where my sink no longer works properly because every time you turn it on it shoots out water everywhere (which we really need to get another sink soon) anyway. I was really excited when I had a chance to review  Purell Advanced Non-Aerosol Instant Hand Sanitizer Foam.  Now the kids have a chance to clean their hands without running to the kitchen sink.  I would definitely give this product 2 thumbs up, it's very light and foamy makes your hands feel soft and has a pleasant smell to it.  If you would love to get yourself a dispenser click here.  If you would like to get the Purell Foam to put in the dispenser then click here

Also got a chance to review the mini backpack Purell Hand Sanitizer and right away my youngest wanted to put it on his backpack! I loved that idea because if he needed to wash his hands and couldn't get to the bathroom then he would have this mini backpack Purell Hand Sanitizer to help him out. And he is very meticulous about his clean hands!

Not only do I like this mini Purell backpack Hand Sanitizer but it came to me to be reviewed in the color blue.  My son's favorite color is blue so he really likes this.  plus it matches his backpack.  I want one of these for my purse!  They come in real handy and are such a good travel size.  Easy to use and it only takes one squirt.  These would also make great gifts, such as Teachers Appreciation Week that will be coming up soon.
  • Convenient 1-oz. flip top cap bottle attaches to purses, backpacks, key chains, diaper bags or gym bags, and goes along where your life takes you
  • Kills the most germs1 – Just 1 squirt of PURELL Advanced Hand Sanitizer kills as many germs as 2 squirts of any other national brand.2
  • Enhanced with four nourishing skin-conditioning agents, a skin-friendly formulation that’s mild on hands
  • Clinically proven effective in helping to maintain skin health – skin moisture and skin feel3 check it out here

I also reviewed this really cute holder that came with some Purell Hand Sanitizer.  My kids just loved this little guy - he is just too cute with his hands and feet.  Right away both of my boys swept him up to their room which is fine with me knowing most little boys rooms are anything but germ free. ;)

They tried him out in the bathroom but soon decided to make his permanent home in their bedroom had to put him by their Lego trash truck. :)

Borax Review and Giveaway

I had a chance to review the 20 Mule Team Borax Detergent Booster as  a member of The Purex Insiders and I have to say it arrived at the perfect time - I was having trouble with my dishes due to hard water. In the past, we have had trouble getting our dishes clean on the top rack and our solution was to go out and buy a new dishwasher thinking that spending all that money on repairing it would probably be the cost of a new dishwasher anyway..so imagine how thrilled I was to learn that you could use Borax in your dishwasher to get your dishes clean! I put some Borax in the bottom of my dishwasher and impatienly waited for the cycle to finish. I am greatly pleased to report that Borax performed wonderfully in my dishwasher and I would definitely recommend Borax to others that are having trouble getting dishes clean (and many other cleaning dilemmas).  It's a great solution.  And less expensive than buying a brand new dishwasher ;)

Borax has a lot of purposes.
  •  It's gentle enough to use on baby clothes
  • Great for removing laundry stains
  • Toilet bowls
  • Garbage disposals and drains
  • Delicates
  • Awesome for those hard water problems!
  • Carpets and rugs
  • And Yes, even the Dishwasher!

GIVEAWAY!! 3 lucky Mintas Creations readers will win their own box of Borax!

Pine Bros Softish Throat drops review

When I received the Pine Bros Softish Throat Drops I was really amazed by how many samples that they sent.  And as fate would have it my husband ended up having a sore throat so I let him try them and he tried the honey ones and thought that they were really good they were soft but effective and had a mild taste so to not be over whelming.  One of the things I like about the cherry throat drops is that it comes in a puck size container so that it is easy to carry in your purse and not worry about them getting all over the place.  I have to admit that these aren't your normal cough drops that they catch you off guard with being like a gummy feel but I do have to say that they are effective without the overdone

Pine Bros Softish throat drops has been around for 140 yrs.  Now that is a lot of trust..Try them and see for yourself why americans like them so much.
